A Beer Cocktail for New Year’s Eve and One for New Year’s Day

Happy New Year Vail! 2018 was a fun year at West Vail Liquor Mart but we’re moving on to 2019. If you are trying to make a nice cocktail for New Year’s Eve or Day, consider a beer cocktail. Beer can offer a very unique component to a cocktail.

For New Year’s Eve, get yourself started with the following cocktail. Stone’s Xocoveza Imperial Stout is inspired by a Mexican Horchata and is enhanced by a kitchen sink variety of ingredients such as cacao, vanilla, coffee and cinnamon. This blender drink should be festive and delicious!

Xocoveza-Chata

1 Can Stone Xocoveza Imperial Stout

1 Scoop Vanilla Ice Cream

1 Scoop Ice

50ml Rumchata

Mix in Blender

Top with Nutmeg

On the morning when you wake up to 2019, you probably want a mimosa. Try a different spin by using Brut IPA, a super dry new style which mimics some champagne aspects. My favorite Brut IPA is from 4 Noses and is accurately dubbed Bubblin’.

Bubblin’ Mosa

½ Can of 4 Noses Bubblin’ Brut IPA

1oz Orange Juice

1oz Pineapple Juice

Top with Cherry

Try these beer cocktails or come up with your own creation and let us know how they come out. Cheers!
